Of smells and flakes: The good kind
Posted by thenextstopwillbe under Whatnot
The sweet smell I mentioned back in October apparently returned to the city yesterday. I have yet to smell it but I’m charmed by the mystery of it. It’s actually a perfect example of why I love this city. NYC never ceases to surprise you.
My commute this morning also surprised me. The setting was our first serious snowstorm of the season. The snowflakes were as large as quarters. It makes the city so much quieter and prettier. Everything has to slow down as well which is not a bad thing at all.
So to sum up, sweet smells and winter wonderland. NYC is rocking today.

“Yesterday, the city Office of Emergency Management got wind of the return of the mystery smell. And, as it did in October, it investigated.”
You really can’t be too careful when a good smell wafts through the city.

I just wish they’d spend a little time investigating the bad smells, then we’d be getting somewhere.
