The Turkish version of Kinder eggs that I discovered back at the beginning of the month continue to amaze me. I’ve bought two since then and I fear there will be many more in my future. Each chocolate egg contains a toy and each toy is part of a series. A little piece of paper comes with the toy and includes the series name as well as the assembly instructions. The headline for this post is the name of the series containing a little rolling Santa Claus in a barrel that was in one of the eggs. I have no idea what it means but it seems totally blog-worthy. I tried to photograph the piece of paper but it didn’t come out too well so I’ve included this photo of the other toy. His name is Yeil Kurtçuk. I’m not sure if he’s a snake or a worm. With that face and the bowtie, I don’t think it matters. His head raises and twists slightly when you push down on his tail. The eggs cost only a buck and I think they’re a bargain.
