Regular readers of my blog know that I’m rather fond of Kinder Surprise eggs. Newcomers can review these earlier posts to acquaint themselves with the subject of my confectionary affections.

Kinder Surprise eggs live up to their name because I never know when and where I’ll find them in my neighorhood of Greenpoint. Even rarer, unfortunately, are the Turkish version made by a company called Toto.

After several weeks of little luck in locating any, the “toy filled candy” stars must have been in alignment yesterday cause I finally found some. This particular batch, discovered at the health food store, came from Poland.

I bought several which I’ll be posting over the days to come but here’s the first one. You wouldn’t know it to look at him but this little guy was a tough cookie to shoot. So much attitude.

My first Kinder Egg from Poland.

Hmmmm. I gotta go with “something about small parts”? Anyone?
