Did someone accidentally drop some clams into vegetable soup one day and decide to call it Manhattan Clam Chowder? I had it for the first time today and more underwhelmed I could not be. It wasn’t clammy and it wasn’t tomato’y, just blah. Give me a big steaming, creamy, clammy bowl of New England Clam Chowder any day. Now that’s a chowdah!
