Oh Sh*t, I Dropped It!

Have these words ever crossed your lips? Were they accompanied by a sinking feeling in your belly that you’ll never find whatever it was that fell? It sucks, don’t it.
Here’s a helpful hint that just might put your stomach back at ease. When trying to find something tiny on the floor, take a flashlight and holding it parallel to the floor(almost touching it), begin sweeping it back and forth. Whatever you lost will cast a shadow making it easier to find. Works best on hard floors but also helps on carpets.
See, all those hours spent watching CSI weren’t wasted. I actually learned a thing or two from Grissom and Horatio. Next weeks lesson, “So I have this dead body…”.

So do you have to turn the lights off first? And does the flash light need to be blue?

dark? yes, but only blue light if what you dropped was bodily fluids. yuckkk.
grissom is the cold scientific robot. horatio is the drama queen.
nothing lately but i once used it to find a tiny screw from a cellphone. i’m not sure why this topic popped into my head.
i’m keeping my fingers crossed you never need to dispose of a dead body.

See that’s where I think the word “need” comes into question, since a lot of choices present themselves before you develop that particular “need”.

tee hee…
I hope I never “need” to dispose of a dead body…that has been my biggest fear the last year since I started managing the apartment building where I live…finding one of the tenants…eeeks……
