Gears, Pens, and Spirals, Oh My!

eBay is both a fascinating and dangerous place. Fascinating in that you can be feeling nostalgic for a Spirograph and a simple search later, there it is. Dangerous in that it’s far too easy to purchase said Spirograph as I did recently. It wasn’t too bad though, I opted for a set from the mid 80’s. The expensive ones are from ‘67, see.
My set arrived a couple days ago and it looks awesome. The pens that came with it are dry but all the gears were there except the tiniest circular one. I bought new pens yesterday and hopefully this weekend I’ll have some time to try the set out. With any luck, I’ll post pics of my designs next week that is if I don’t choke on any of the small parts.(Remember when toys were dangerous to children? Good times.)

my case was different. i think it was red, and all the circle thingamabobs would lay flat in a little cutout space. except that they wouldn’t and they’d get all over the place
