I’m a devoted New York Times reader but these recent articles in the Washington Post may cause me to rethink my newspaper of choice.
An incredibly well written and researched story about having a world class violinist play for change in the Washington D.C. Metro then documenting the results. As a daily subway rider, I wasn’t too surprised at the reaction or, more correctly, lack of reaction from passing commuters but it’s still a very interesting read.
Two words, “poop transplant”.
BTW, allow me to point out a website that I’ve found useful. Ever want to check out a website but it won’t let you in and/or read anything until you register? It’s irritating ain’t it? Try Bugmenot.com, you put the website you wanna use into the search bar and it’ll come back with a username and password so you don’t have to create one yourself. It’s very handy.
