Fence’icle in Central Park
Posted by thenextstopwillbe under Whatnot
I came across the most amazing spectacle in Central Park on my way to work a couple of weeks ago. It seems someone had left a sprinkler on overnight and freezing temperatures caused this fence to become a giant fence’icle.
This is the left side of the frozen section.
The center sections were frozen nearly solid
You can see individual icicles in this shot that appear solid from a distance.
The frozen section was several fence panels wide. It was pretty nuts but also cool, no pun intended.
UPDATE: Is it just me or does it look like a giant with a bad cold sneezed on the fence? Speaking of sneezes, check out the most insane egg separator ever.

This is a beautiful example of serendipity. (Forget the giant!)
