The next stop will be…

I found a bunch of old ID’s while going through a junk drawer today and I thought it would be fun to photograph and post them.

Photon was a laser tag place in Houston in the mid ’80’s. I think it was in a converted bowling alley on Richmond Ave. I’m guessing I was 18 when this was taken.

Astroworld is a theme park in Houston and Waterworld was its adjoining water park. I think this was taken in ‘86 so I would be 19 here.

I guess I just wanted to go to Astroworld this year. This is from ‘87 when I turned 20.

My Texas DL that was cut up when I got my New York DL. Not sure exactly when this was taken but I think I’m in my mid-twenties.

Technical Note: No photoshop here, I went old school with black construction paper to hide the sensitive info. I’m retro.

Expired New York State DL, taken 12/27/00. That’s about a month after moving to Brooklyn. I was 33.

Close up. I always try to have a big smile for official pics. Best to avoid looking like you’ve been standing in an interminable line at the DMV since you’re gonna have this thing for a while.

The pass for the pool in Williamsburg, Brooklyn. I believe these are issued for a year so this was taken on 12/25/00. I was 33.
