Windows: An Observation

UPSIDE: The cool spring breezes wafting through them while I sleep.
DOWNSIDE: The cardinal that lives in my backyard. Thanks to my open windows, he’s become the cutest alarm clock ever. The problem is he’s set at 5:30 a.m. and I can’t adjust him.

at my parents’ house, there was a cardinal that would fly, swoop down and slam itself into the living room window, over and over. the noise got very unbearable as this happened every afternoon. my mom wanted to poison it. lol! instead we bought a fake owl and that worked for a little bit. until the cardinal realized the owl never moved.
