News of the Day
It’s a long story that I won’t get into but I don’t have internet access at home right now. It’s too close to our moving date to bother with fixing it so blog posts will be sporadic at best. I’m gonna try to write Part Two of the NYC Century story today but I’m pretty [...]

Sweet, Sweet Ambrosia
It’s seems appropriate to give my legs a rest after yesterday’s ride so no bicycle commuting today. I’m not thrilled about taking the train but there’s a side benefit to this decision that is working out quite nicely.

“Bye Bye Belly” Project Reaches a Milestone
The project continues but I realized today that I’ve reached a milestone of sorts. My belly has stopped being a separate entity and has officially joined back up with the rest of my body. I’m not exactly sure when it happened but I’m glad that it did.
The numbers also shed some light on my progress. [...]

New Bicyle Commute ver. 1
This morning I decided to see what my new bicycle commute, most of it anyway, is gonna be like after *E* and I move. Instead of heading north from my house, as I usually do, to Queens and taking the Queensborough Bridge to Manhattan, I biked south to the Williamsburg Bridge. The bridge is about [...]

The King Has a Challenger to the Throne
I absolutely LOVE sesame seeds. Delicious little morsels of bitter oil with a crunchy exterior that pop between your teeth, what’s not to like? They’re yummy on bagels, buns, and pretty much bread of all types. I also like them on meats and seafood. For a sweet treat, I particularly enjoy sesame and [...]
