“Bye Bye Belly” Project Reaches a Milestone
Posted by thenextstopwillbe under Whatnot
The project continues but I realized today that I’ve reached a milestone of sorts. My belly has stopped being a separate entity and has officially joined back up with the rest of my body. I’m not exactly sure when it happened but I’m glad that it did.
The numbers also shed some light on my progress. I’ve lost 14 pounds and almost 3 inches off my waist since early April. Most of that loss is due to the bicycle commuting because my diet still needs a lot of work. The struggle with too many simple carbohydrates and not enough fruit and veggies is a battle I often lose. So to speak.
Regardless of diet issues, the fact that I’m gonna be biking for close to two hours a day starting in a couple weeks should keep the weight loss moving. Come spring, I’ll be a lean mean biking machine. Can’t wait to see what my calves are gonna look like.

I think you are surely awesome!! And congrats to you and E for finding a new place/shacking up with each other.
Question: How do you deal with the ummm ‘aromas’ that might be produced from the sweating and biking and such?
Just curious- if you think I’m ever gonna ride a bike to work (much less learn to ride one of those fancy contraptions) you’ve another thing coming, mister.

In article I was just reading about weight control, a nutritionist said in response to the question, “What should I cut out?”
“Nothing. Exercise more.”
I think you’ve found the secret!! Bravo!
