I took the day off today. The museum where I work, like most non-profits, is quite generous with holidays and Monday happens to be Columbus Day. I almost always tack a personal day onto a holiday weekend thereby getting a four day weekend. Woo hoo!! It’s like a little mini-vacation without the effort of having to go anywhere. Of course, there’s still an apartment to unpack.

I have a whole list of things that I want to accomplish this weekend but so far I’m off to a slow start. I did manage to complete a task that’s been on my radar for some time, updating Wordpress. Thenextstopwillbe.com hasn’t been upgraded since March so I was several versions behind. Thankfully I’m getting the process down pretty well so there were no hiccups. There’s several new features, like tagging, in the latest version that I look forward to exploring.

Now about that to-do list…
